Beauty, Health and Living Blog (in memory of Madame C.J. Walker)
Grooming your eyebrows this way is totally painless! I think threading eyebrows is more effective than plucking. No breakouts from irritated skin and it is done quickly. In my part of town it can cost up to $20 bucks (NYC) to get your eyebrows grooms and in many places in NJ it can cost as little as 5 bucks! Call around to your nearest nail or full service hair salon or even a spa to see if they provide this service. I find that I have to get my eyebrows shaped every three weeks versus the month or six weeks, give or take, if waxed.
The bottom line is that this way is cheap, more effective than waxing and it’s painless. Feathers are for plucking, not your eyebrows.
This is a long-term solution if you want to grow stronger, healthy hair I suggest squeezing the liquid out of Vitamin E tabs (try to find the purest form) and rubbing it into the roots of your hair. Vitamin E contains antioxidants that reverses the effects of hair damage. I know this works because I have a nice head of hair and I’ve been doing this for a very long time with a whole combination of other things to moisturize and feed my hair. It has made my hair stronger, longer and overall, healthy looking. It takes about five E tabs to cover my entire scalp. I’d like to hear some rebuttals to my Vitamin E suggestion for those who have tried this and who have had any effects or not.

For those of you who are weary about squeezing Vitamin E onto your scalps then I say try out TRESsemme’s Vitamin E moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.
Also, good nutrition helps to promote beautiful hair as well!
Dietary Sources of Vitamin E :
“Eggs, fortified cereals, fruit, green leafy vegetables (such as spinach), meat, nuts/nut oils, poultry, vegetable oils (corn, cottonseed, safflower, soybean, sunflower), wheat germ oil, whole grains. Cooking and storage may destroy some of the vitamin E in foods.”

:p I calls her “Loud Kimora” because she is. Ever watch her reality show “Life in the fab lane”? Forget fabulosity, how about Ghetto Fabulous. I love her regardless though and she is fabulous so I can’t hate. Anyway, I had the pleasure of smelling and sampling this fragrance for the very first time last night over at Macy’s (excuse me! But I have two kids and I have to get there when I get there, ok?). It smells good gals. Hey!
